Scintillating sky, crisp sunshine, skimpy swimsuits, horn rimmed aviators and martinis, a perfect mix of colors in the scorching summer.Worlds of wonder is a perfect amalgamation of amusement and water park in North India.
My Visit to WoW:
It happened to be last summer when the heat was at its peak. I along with friends decided to visit Worlds of Wonder aka WOW to rejuvenate in the crashing heat and cherish summer through water rides.I was so enthralled that I compelled and penned down to share my experience of WOW.
This water park, being the perennial draw for the summer hangouts, is spread over 10 acres and has 23 major attractions the most exquisite among them being the ‘Aqua Walk’ where you can literally “chill” and relax and float in the vast expanse of the “lazy river” and get your varied tan.
The adventure rides at WOW
There are multiple water slides rated according to the thrill factor like the ‘Turbo Tunnel ‘ will stir the bile in your liver, the ‘Free fall’ being almost as straight as an inverted glass, having a height of about 130cm is rated 7 on the thrill scale.
The adventure and thrill of rides & races were so nerve-racking that we almost lost our conscious during the merriment. The Wonder speedway is North India’s largest, and India’s best professional two-stroke go-karting track designed artistically. Top class facilities, a chain of well-designed and power-packed karts arraying from Twin engine pro karts to duet karts and single-seaters are available here for giving you the best thriller experience.
The ‘Feedback’ is a must visit ride. Having a seating capacity of about 24 people, it helps you explore the 360° panorama view and turn your world upside down for real.
The best part was the rain dance that took us to the next level of enjoyment. We danced with madness in the gushing mist of rain drops and our body was jerking to the tune of best DJs in town. It makes the most happening dance floor of all. We also came to know that WOW also launches events like the sun burn, special DJ weekends and match screenings in the wave pool.
Restaurants at WOW:
As promised all the rides gave us a tons of butterflies in our stomach and we started feeling hungry. The dining at Worlds of Wonder is as fabulous as its Water and dry Rides. The eater park has three restaurants, typical Punjabi Dhaba for the desi souls offering typical Punjabi food like Paratha with Lassi sweet and salty as per the requirement. We approach one of the restaurants and eat like never before.
Wow promises a wonderful experience for us and we left the place in evening saying “Wow!’.
