Manchanabele Dam is situated in manchibele village of Magadi Teluk of Bangalore. It is built on Arkavathi River for irrigation of farm land on either side of Arkavathi river that’s why it is also called as ‘thore saalu’ project, thore in kannada means river and saalu means line. It is a wonderful place for picnic and one day outing. The hills which guard the reservoir give picturesque view of the place. People passionate about photography will really fine a number of shots to capture.
The Big Banyan tree: is situated in Ramohalli about 15 km from Manchanbele dam. The 400 years old Dod Aladamara as called in kannada language is great attraction for tourist as its thousand of roots spread over 4 acre of land is really huge.
